Project Update Week of 7/28/14
Next week, the contractor will complete installation of
water service lines between Hyanis Dr and Novak Rd. The Contractors will
also resume Storm Sewer installation at Hyanis Drive moving Northward. The
Paving Contractor will begin excavating the roadbed and widening areas along
the east side of the roadway from the Railroad tracks to Novak Road. Work crews
may also remove roadside ditch culverts and install underdrains on the east
side of the roadway south of Vivian Drive. Utility crews will again be on site
to continue their relocation efforts. Please use caution when traveling
on SR 57 as flagmen, workers and equipment will be on the roadway between 7:00
am and 5:30 pm, Monday thru Friday this week. Thank you all for your continued

feel free to link this map on their website to help their customers find them.
For residents, all the business are clearly organized by type of business and
users can click on the icons to get information on the business such as
address, phone number, and/or website. This map will be available and linked on
www.villageofgrafton.org as well.

The one-way phase began on July
14th and traffic will only be able to travel SOUTH BOUND on
SR 57 during the remaining project duration. Cars wishing to
travel north bound will need follow the posted detour around the construction.
Jeff Hill (Project Engineer) and Bob McCarthy (Project
Inspector) are managing the project for Lorain County and are in the field daily.
